The University of Tripoli is an educational institution that strives to raise educational, cultural and civilizational standards within the Lebanese and international communities, to keep abreast of current trends in higher education and technological progress, to encourage scientific research and to contribute to the building of future generations and the development of society within the framework of Islamic values.
Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Studies The University's nucleus was founded in 1402 AH / 1982 AD as the "Tripoli Institute of Islamic Studies" and the Presidential Decree No. (1736) was issued on 14/4/2009 by converting it to the University of Tripoli.
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences does not generally require any additional admission requirements other than those of the university, except for the requirements of each department. Please refer to these requirements in their respective detailed sections.
The Faculty of Business Administration, at The University of Tripoli, has gained reputation for its practical program, which mixes the Islamic System in economics and banking with the western system in the Arab World. Thus, it offers innovative undergraduate programs, including Bachelor of Management, Marketing, Accounting, and Management Information System.
