About BS in Interior Design:

The Interior Design Program aims to prepare members of the program in developing a problem-solving approach to the creation of public and private built environments. The program empowers its members with the ability to innovatively improve and develop the various built environments. Upon completion of the program students will able to achieve the following objectives: ​ Successfully communicate various design ideas as part of an interdisciplinary collaboration; Illustrate an enhanced level of critical thinking; Illustrate knowledge of both intellectual and theoretical backgrounds through a curriculum which includes the study of ancient, modern and contemporary history of Interiors, Furniture, and Styles; Gain knowledge of human factors and human behavior in an interior built environment; Cultivate the attitudes and values of professionalism in the work place; Apply the fundamentals of interior design, theories of design, and design sustainability; Become life-long learners; Illustrate high ethical standards as professionals in their chosen field; Develop increased employability skills required within the field.
