About BS in Communication Information Systems:

The Communication Information Systems program aims to graduate students as IT and IS consultants, project planners, project managers, interface designers, information systems researchers, web developers, and systems analysts. The program builds on and emphasizes general tasks of an information technology and systems specialist which may be required of them in the workforce. Upon completion of the program students will able to achieve the following objectives: ​ Analyze, plan, implement and assess computer-based solutions to a various set of problems in an interdisciplinary environment; Establish an understanding of the local, regional, and international societal impact of computing, including professional, ethical and social responsibilities. Communicate, cooperate and present computing solutions by applying contemporary technology effectively and professionally; Demonstrate professional interaction and communicate effectively with team members; Support the delivery and management of information systems; Demonstrate an understanding of the role of management and business practices in information technology; Become life-long learners; Illustrate high ethical standards as professionals in their chosen field; Develop increased employability skills required within the field.
