The Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences offers the Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work. On completion of the degree in Social Work, students will be able to: - Demonstrate social work practice competencies applying holistic, multicultural, and global perspectives to their professional practice. - Demonstrate social work practice competencies that encourage personal, social, political and economic empowerment with systems of all sizes. - Demonstrate policy practice competencies promoting human rights and well-being in addition to social and economic justice in the local, national, regional and global contexts.
