The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the university offers two graduate programs that lead to the Master of Engineering (ME) degree. The Thesis Program is designed to prepare students through course work and research experience in their chosen area of concentration. This program provides an opportunity for students to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in their field of study. On the other hand, the Non-Thesis Program focuses more on coursework and provides a broad-based education in civil and environmental engineering. Both programs require students to fulfill specific program requirements, and the program that the student has completed will be indicated on their transcript. Regardless of which program a student chooses, they will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a successful career in civil and environmental engineering.
